Tiger
Real Cubism Series
This artwork is part of my Real Cubism series — a painting style constructed from square pixel structures rather than traditional cubist geometry.
Each piece in the series is built manually using small square color blocks, translating the language of digital pixels into traditional acrylic painting. From a distance the image forms a recognizable figure, while up close the viewer can observe the grid of individual painted units that create the composition.
In this work, the tiger becomes a symbol of focus, intensity, and natural power. The animal’s iconic stripes translate naturally into the pixel grid, allowing the geometric structure of the painting to interact with the organic patterns found in nature.
The strong contrast between orange, black, and white blocks emphasizes the tiger’s gaze and presence, while the pixel construction transforms the animal into a dynamic study of pattern, structure, and movement.
Through this interpretation, the painting bridges wild nature and digital abstraction, revealing how complex natural forms can emerge from simple geometric elements.
Every piece in the series is an original work by Rafael Brango.
